  • Hazelnut hot chocolate
  • Serves 1
  • Put one tbsp. cocoa powder into a large jug and whisk in 200ml milk, then whisk in 1 tbsp. Nutella hazelnut spread. Microwave on high for 1 minute, whisk and microwave for another 30 second. Wisk again and pour into a heatproof glass or mug. Pour 100ml milk into the jug. Microwave on high for 30 seconds or longer until hot. Wisk well to make a froth and spoon or pour, on top of the hot chocolate. Dust with cocoa powder.
  • Berry Smoothie
  • Serves 2
  • Peel 2 ripe bananas and break them into a large jug or liquidizer. Add 200g frozen raspberries, 150ml plain yogurt and 200ml low fat milk. Use a stick blender or pulse the liquidizer to make a smooth drink. Add a little honey to taste. Pour into 2 large glasses and serve.
  • Maple and spice coffee
  • Serves 2
  • Add 8 roughly crushed cardamom pods to a plunger the 2 tbsp. of ground coffee. Pour 200ml boiling water and leave for 5 minutes to infuse. Microwave 300ml milk on high for 2 minutes. Prepare the coffee and pour into heatproof mugs, add 1 tsp maple syrup to each, whisk the hot milk and pour it in on top of the coffee.
